Firefighting work at the entry level, learning basic firefighting, emergency vehicle driving, rescue, hazardous materials and emergency medical technique and methods. You will be assigned to the Academy for approximately 26 weeks, upon successful completion you will be assigned to 24/48 shift work in one of our 13 fire stations and move to Recruit status.

Numerous premium pay opportunities available:
Paramedics – flat rate of $7000 annually
Field assigned Paramedics (on top of the $7000) – additional $500-$3000 based upon years of service
Special Operations – $1000 annually
Heavy Vehicle Operator – $1000 annually
